After Jason's heart game, he decided to stop taking memories, but he's been mentally good lately, plus there's the whole Tim factor, so he's bound to ... take them up again. Which incidentally means he'll be getting two memories with Tim in them. Anyway.

I severely overestimated my ability to be online while entertaining a guest, so I am retroactively declaring that Jason and Riku were personanapped to before the Firebird plot kicked off. As much as I wanted to do the deage event, I think I'm going to keep them gone until after it.

In addition, I want to apologize for my absence holding up Suzaku's good ending/Kakashi's intro. I'm sorry and my phone died (batterywise, not permanently) when I realized I needed to shoot an email in certain directions. So, sorry for that!

AS ANOTHER NOTE, not under a cut: if Jason is seen outside of a game, he is usually wearing black pants (made by Marine), a yellow (Heliodor-colored) hoodie, and a T-shirt. One of the things I have to work with in playing Jason is that there are a lot of comics talking about how his death was his fault. It's the reason for his username and it's something that I have to keep in mind when I play him. Basically, Jason never had good things said about him after he died.

I should add that my interpretation is that Jason was always a kid with an attitude—that's there in his post-crisis origin—but he was eager to do whatever he could to prove himself. The thing was that he was really good at his job. The problem was that he was troubled and that was something he had to deal with, and in dealing with it, he died. It wasn't his fault, but he did. When he came back, Talia planted some really terrible ideas in his head.

In bringing him in to Aather, I had to keep this in mind. I didn't want his sudden turn toward killing people to be surprising if he got one of those memories really out of order, and I didn't want to have him too weighted with the Robin memories. I wanted to explore the conflict in a different way, starting him out with being cool with killing people and then creating a conflict there. Jason in the past had grown frustrated over time and was starting to really hate the people he and Batman were taking down, in part because these guys were low-lives and terrible to women.

Anyway, the point is, there's a tumblr essay I found that explores the "Jason's death is his fault" thing, and how it relates to blaming him, the victim. I should add that Judd Winick, the main writer of Jason, doesn't do this.

Name Fluffy / Jason Todd
Age Died at fifteen. Came back ~three years later. Spent a year in a vegetative state. Five months in back alleys. Another year or so with the al Ghuls. And then a year training. That should put him at nineteenthish. And then there's one year later, making him ~20.

(This is further complicated by "Hush," where it's said Jason looks around Nightwing's age, but this was written before Winick decided he wanted to take Jason and run with him. I am largely basing this timeline on the fact that Tim became Robin ... somehow ... during the time that Jason was recuperating. [Go with it.] Thus, Jason has been alive again for five years.)
Team Heliodor

Height/Build Muscular. He's apparently 225 pounds and six-feet tall.
Hair Color/Eye Color Black hair, blue eyes. I am not accepting the bizarre Morrison retcon that Jason dyed his hair red for Bruce because that's just weird and even the DCnU thought that was stupid. And when the DCnU thinks something is stupid, you should probably just recognize that it was that dumb.
Notable Traits Broad shoulders, lots and lots of scars on his body.
